Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of Donations

Apne Sapne Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organisation registered under the laws of India (Reg. No. COOP/2026/JAIPUR/502198). All donations made to the Foundation are voluntary contributions made for the purpose of furthering our charitable mission of educating and empowering underprivileged children.

Once a donation is received, the Foundation is at liberty to use it for the purpose for which it was given, or for general charitable purposes consistent with our mission.

2. General Policy: No Refunds

As a matter of policy and in line with standard practices for registered NGOs, donations to Apne Sapne Foundation are non-refundable. We urge all donors to be certain before making a contribution. By donating, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

3. Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Considered

A refund may be processed, at the sole discretion of the Foundation, in the following limited circumstances:

• Duplicate Transaction: The same donation was processed more than once due to a technical error.
• Incorrect Amount: An amount substantially different from the intended amount was charged.
• Fraudulent Transaction: A transaction was made using your payment instrument without your authorisation (subject to verification by the payment gateway and/or your bank).
• Failed Service Delivery: In the rare case that a paid programme, event or merchandise item cannot be delivered as described, and a refund is the appropriate remedy.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under one of the above circumstances, please contact us within 7 (seven) calendar days of the transaction, providing the following details:

• Your full name, email and phone number
• Transaction reference number / UTR / Donation receipt number
• Date and amount of the donation
• Brief description of the reason for the refund request

5. Verification & Processing

All refund requests will be subject to verification by our team and the payment gateway. If approved, refunds will be credited to the original payment instrument within 10–15 business days from approval. The Foundation is not responsible for any delays caused by the donor's bank or card issuer.

6. Tax Receipts

If a tax receipt (80G certificate) has already been issued for a donation that is subsequently refunded, the receipt becomes invalid. The donor agrees to return or destroy the original receipt and to cooperate in any corrective reporting required by the Income Tax Department.

7. Event & Programme Registrations

For paid events, workshops or merchandise, the refund terms stated at the time of registration will apply. In the absence of specific terms, the general donation refund policy above will apply.

8. Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a refund request, you may escalate the matter in writing to our Grievance Officer at apnesapnefoundation@gmail.com. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably within 30 days.
